On the second day, an excursion on the Circum-Baikal railway awaited us. It's a facinating trip with a striking beauty, splendor and interesting history. Today we first met with Baikal and did not part with it for a long whole week, he accepted us as with warm and friendly sun. When the tour ended, we were met and taken to the hotel, where we finally have a moment to rest after a long and hard day :)

In the morning we went to Olkhon with our guide Zhanna, who accompanied and opened Baikal for us. We travelled to the island and went to the hotel in Khuzhir. We were fed lunch at the place, given time to relax, in the evening Zhanna drove us to the Shaman rock and told us about the history, customs and culture of local residents.

In the morning, our group was taken to Cape Khoboy. In the north of the island there were many opportunities for beautiful photography. We also had an opportunity to taste a delicious fish soup, delicious tea with thyme and to listen a lot of interesting things about Baikal. Tomorrow we will have an equally interesting tour, but on a boat.

The island of Ogoy is impressive not only because of the Buddhist Shrine of Enlightenment, but also for the road to it. On a boat we sailed through picturesque places and stopped in one of the bays to have lunch. Nearby was a healing spring, to which we walked a bit and drove on. In the evening, we returned to the hotel, sat by the fire, sang songs and had a really good time.

On the final day, we were all given the opportunity to decide how to spend our time. Someone went to the southern part of the island, someone to the village of Old Believers or to ride horses. We took bikes and rode around the island, had a lot of fun. Tomorrow we had to leave and this tour ended, thank you and see you soon.
