Arrival in Irkutsk, pick up at the airport or the railway station, hotel accommodation. At 11 a.m. we go to Listvyanka which is located 70 km from Irkutsk.  

In Listvyanka we will visit the Baikal Museum and then we will reach the Chersky Stone observation platform with unforgettable views over Baikal by aerial lift. Lunch at the café. After lunch you have free time. You can go to the sleddog sports center and ride real dogsleds or snowmobiles.

Return to Irkutsk in the evening.

In the morning we meet you at the Irkutsk airport or at the railway station. Then you go to Olkhon island by minibus, the road takes 5-6 hours. At the ice crossing we perform the rite of greeting Winter Baikal. Arrival on the island. Lunch. The Baikal Mini-hotel accommodation, the distance to Lake Baikal is 150 meters, twin, double or triple standard and economy rooms, central heating.

Walking tour to Cape Burkhan (the Shamanka rock), one of the nine shrines of Asia, a sacred place to the Buryats, indigenous people of the island. Dinner.

After breakfast an exciting tour to Cape Khoboy, the northernmost and the most famous cape of the island, a place full of ancient legends and traditions, begins. It is here that you can see the famous blue ice of Baikal. Along the way you will also visit Sagaan Khushun rock complex which is also called as “Three Brothers” due to its outlines. Picnic-lunch. Return to the mini-hotel, dinner.

Breakfast. Full day tour to the south of Olkhon island. You will visit Ogoy island where the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment is located on. The Stupa contains various Buddhist relics and a bronze statuette of dakini Troma Nagmo considered by Tibetan Buddhism to be the mother of all Buddhas. Then you will go to Cape Khorgoy where 185 meters long ancient Kurykan protective wall is built. It is made of stones and apparently was built to protect against enemy attacks. Return to the hotel, dinner. Optional: banya (at an additional cost).
