Thousands of people associate Siberia with the taiga, the unimaginable cold, the excellent health of local residents, their cordiality and simple character. It's all true and we are really proud of it! But let me add to the already well-known facts another one: our Siberian summer is in no way inferior to the Black Sea resorts in the number of sunny days and somewhere surpasses them! We will show you a completely different Siberia! It's beautiful, funny and interesting here!
Baikal, Arshan, Circum-Baikal Railway, Olkhon - all of them are part of the Siberian Adventures tour. A rich program, exciting excursions, experienced guides! This tour to Lake Baikal in the summer of 2023 was created for those who are not used to stay anywhere for too long and for those who are in a constant search for vivid emotions and impressions!

Welcome to Siberia!
At 09:30 a.m. we meet at the airport and at the railway station and get luggage. When we’re all set, we leave for the village of Arshan by minibus (220 km), the journey will take about 4 hours.
Lunch is at your own expense in a roadside diner. On the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Tunkin Depression: snow-capped mountain peaks in the sun, green fields and rapid mountain rivers. Upon arrival: accommodation at one of the guest houses in Arshan. After a short rest, we will start a simple trek along the Kyngyrga River to waterfalls. Return to the guest house. Dinner is on your own in the cafe at the guest house.

After breakfast, you will visit a Buddhist datsan. The datsan was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century with the blessing of the great holy llama Aghvan Dorzhiev. The small complex traditionally includes the datsan building, prayer wheels and stupas. Lunch at your own expense in a local cafe. We recommend that you try traditional Buryat meat dishes – buuz and bukhler – they are really very tasty!
After lunch, you have free time. You can visit the village of Zhemchug, which has pools and baths with therapeutic thermal water, as well as salt showers. Also, those who wish can go to the valley of extinct volcanoes or climb Lovers’ Peak.
Dinner: you can eat at one of the village cafes or at the guest house. For those who wish – a banya with birch besoms (for an additional fee).

Early breakfast. Departure from Arshan to the town of Slyudyanka. In Slyudyanka, you will board the Circum-Baikal Express, an excursion train that follows the Circum-Baikal Railway.
During the journey you will have stops at the most interesting places, tours of tunnels, bridges and retaining arches. The guide will tell you the history of the Circum-Baikal Railway construction and interesting information about Lake Baikal. In the evening, the train arrives at Port Baikal, from where we get to Listvyanka village via the ferry through the mouth of the Angara River. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation, dinner.

After breakfast, we take a sightseeing tour of Listvyanka. First, we visit the Baikal Museum and make an interactive dive in a bathyscaphe to the bottom of the lake. Then, by cable car, we go up to the Chersky Stone, from where one can enjoy beautiful panoramas of Lake Baikal and its environs. Lunch is at your own expense in a cafe. After lunch, you will see a show of real Baikal seals. They can dance, count and even draw! On the market in Listvyanka, you can buy souvenir products of Siberian craftsmen made of stone, wood, birch bark and glass, as well as try Baikal fish – omul, grayling, whitefish, cold and hot smoked. Dinner is on your own in the cafes and restaurants of Listvyanka.

Breakfast. Boarding a minibus and transfer to the island of Olkhon. On the way, lunch at a roadside diner (at your own expense). On the ferry we cross the Strait of Olkhon Gate and get to the island. Arrival in the village of Khuzhir, accommodation at hotel. Dinner. A walking tour to one of the main attractions of Olkhon island – Cape Burkhan. This cape is also called the Shamanka rock because the place has long been considered sacred. Return to hotel. Dinner.

Breakfast. Today you will have an excursion to the northern part of the island, to Cape Khoboy. On the way, you will visit Cape Budun, Peschanaya Village, the Sagaan-Khushun rock complex (translated from Buryat as “Three Brothers”). On Khoboy you can enjoy beautiful panoramas of Baikal. In good weather the Ushkan Islands and the Svyatoy Nos peninsula are visible. The guide will tell you about the legends and beliefs associated to Cape Khoboy. At the edge of the woods you will have a picnic with Baikal ukha. After lunch, we continue our journey along the northern part of the island to the Bay Haga-Yaman. Return to hotel, dinner.

After breakfast, we set off on a journey through the southeastern part of the island. Thanks to this trip, you will have a full understanding of Olkhon. We promise that you will be amazed at how many surprises the steppe, which is at first glance plain, hides in itself. The program of the day includes secluded bays, a turquoise lagoon and even a lake called "Heart". Take swimsuits with you on hot July and August days. This day will not do without bizarre rock complexes. A stone castle, a trident and a profile of Stalin are among those things you will see on this day.

Free day, plan it as you wish. Horseback or ATV riding, fishing or just swimming and sunbathing – the choice is yours. Besides, you can take a water excursion to the island of Ogoy or visit Cape Khorgoy famous for its remains of an ancient Kurykan's stone wall.

The final breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk (Kirov square). First, we drive by UAZ to the ferry, and then continue on by minibus. The road will take about 6 hours. Lunch at a roadside diner is at your own expense.
